My Story
Hi there! Let me take a minute of your time to formally introduce my project, my dream, my craziness, which I’ve been literally cooking for the past 12 years of working in the kitchen. My story actually started with the women that were the backbone of my home, from my grandma’s magical hands to my mother, learning from that unique experience of cooking at home, because food transports you; it takes you back to your roots to remember who you really are and where you come from. An unspoken language interpreted by the soul.
That’s why cooking became my passion and my career.
After working for some of the biggest names in this country which I now call home, I’m betting on myself and want to share my dream with the world.
TURRAS Orlando is dedicated to all the strong women with which I had the honor of growing personally and professionally; to those which I have here with me and to those which I miss every waking day.
This is a THANK YOU to them because only we understand how hard it can be to explain to the world something as simple as “I am a woman and, YES I CAN”.
